What is a Gem Blenders Referee?
A Gem Blenders Referee is someone who represents Gem Blenders during an organized play event by answering rules questions and making sure the event follows Gem Blenders organized play standards.
Why are Referees important?
In order to qualify as an official Gem Blenders event, there must be a Referee present to oversee the tournament, and to assist players with rules questions. Each Referee is an important ambassador that galvanizes the local Gem Blenders community.
Do Referees get any special benefits?
Each qualified Referee will automatically receive a copy of all season rewards, as well as Referee Points, which can be exchanged for product at a future date.
How do I become a Referee?
1. Create a player profile and username
2. Join the Gem Blenders Discord
3. Pass the Referee Assessment
4. Complete a virtual interview
How do I prepare for the Referee Assessment?
The Referee Assessment consists of 7 sections: Basic Lore, Deck Restrictions, Beginning the Game, During Your Turn, Zones, Cards and Concepts, and Advanced Concepts.
